We are a private rescue. We work full time but devote every minute of our spare time with passion to the forgotten animals left behind. Bff4pets and rescue partners Pretty Good Cat of the Coachella desert community, in addition to Maryslittlelambs of Los Angeles are dedicated to rescuing animals that others abandon or neglect. Although we are a 501c3 non profit (our non profit status is used to purchase liability insurance to protect the humans that interact with our pets and to participate in public adoption events), WE OPERATE AS A PRIVATE RESCUE. What does that mean? That means it's just two people (Cathy Borrego, who specializes with Dogs and some cats, and Tina Miller who focuses on Cats with some dogs) and 3 foster families and our immediate family that supports our efforts helping all the animals we can within reason and healthy accommodations. **Sunshine and the Pitt 'r Patt Pups are currently on hold due to illness.** 

Sunshine is a lucky lady.  She was abandoned down a dirt road with no food or water.  To make matters worse she was pregnant.  Luckily for her a humane society foster family lived just up the road and happened to spot her.  By the time the puppies were born Sunshine was safe and sound in her new foster home.  She gave birth to fourteen puppies.  Within a few weeks she was down to only eight puppies, but all eight turned out healthy and happy. …

Goldie Girl is in a bad way at the moment. She was abandoned and is pregnant. She has made her way to a local home, but they are not interested in helping her with the soon to be puppies. Our foster homes are full, but are scrambling around trying to come up with a way to make room for her. If any rescue group out there could take this girl though, it sure would be a big help to us.
